Terry Gunnels is a creative and master craftsman. We had a concrete & screen-enclosed deck and also an upper concrete balcony that were both failing. Furthermore, the sheer weight of the concrete was pulling on the entire exterior wall of our home threatening massive destruction. Terry came to the rescue. He removed the failed concrete, reframed the exterior wall, replaced the large custom-sized picture windows, designed the deck and the upper balcony, rebuilt the 'casita' with *Kebony wood, replaced screens and added glass hinged windows, put a metal roof on the casita, hand built posts and railings, painted, replaced lighting fixtures...and became our friend. His work is exacting. He anticipated problems and solved them before we even realized there was a problem. He is an expert at every aspect of construction. And he holds himself to the highest standards. But most of all, he is honest. He listens. He understands. Without hesitation or qualification, we are happy to give him our highest recommendation. *Kebony is a modified wood product in which the timber's properties are permanently changed and enhanced through an eco-friendly process without the use of environmental toxins.
